Swing into Spring
On Friday 1 March, 蘑菇短视频's Great Hall was temporarily transformed into" Frankie 蘑菇短视频's Jazz Club" for one night only for our Edinburgh Fringe Fundraiser – Swing into Swing. Seated at club-style tables, the audience was treated to jazzy sets from the 蘑菇短视频’s Swingers and the Soul Band, as well as some pop from the Flute and Guitar Orchestra. The 蘑菇短视频’s Barbers and Belles enchanted with an a capello version of Coldplay’s Fix You before the Barbers ended with what has become their signature tune, Billy Joel’s The Longest Time. Another highlight of the evening was a medley of songs from Stephen Sondheim’s Company, which is this summer's 蘑菇短视频’s players' Edinburgh Fringe Festival production. Solos from Charlotte Curness, Charlotte Carver, Liz Austin, Max Llewellyn, Provhat Rahman, Josh Dadzie, Ashley Agedah, Charlie Layburn May Al-Shawk and Dom Innes-Taylor all proved that anyone who is in Edinburgh for the 11-16 August has a treat in store.
